She uses these interventions along with an emphasis on person in environment perspective as well as solutions focused and task focused approaches to help clients work through difficult issues to produce change. She has experience working with children, youth, and families in both individual and family therapy. She enjoys working with a variety of clients from various backgrounds and life experiences. Most of her experience has focused on addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and suicidal ideation.

Caressa is bilingual and provides therapy services in English and Spanish. She was raised in South and Central America from age 4 to junior year in high school. She is fluent in Spanish and has cultural understanding and appreciation. She considers herself to be of a third culture, not fully belonging to her parents’ home country and not fully belonging to the countries she was raised in.
