Barcelona Counseling is located at 10445 SW Canyon Rd, #119B in Beaverton, OR 97005. The office is on the first floor, on the left, and at the end of the hall. The main entrance and parking is on 106 St, across the stress from the Enterprise Car Rental. The name of the building is Canyon Building.
New clients: Requirements
Before you make an appointment, it is required that you contact your health insurance and ask about your mental health behavioral benefits. It is important to know if you have any deductibles that have not been met, and if you have any copayments for mental health counseling.
Please bring an ID and your health insurance card on the first visit.
For security reasons the front door is locked on the weekends and holidays. Please go to the side of the building past the recycling area. You'll find a Barcelona Counseling sign. Ring the bell and I will let you in.
For a Saturday 1st appointment, it is needed that you bring the required paperwork all filled out and ready. I cannot attend to the door while I am in sessions. You will find the paperwork under the Documents section on the webpage.

Oregon Health Share Clients
In order to use Oregon Health Share, a pre- authorization is needed. It takes about 14 days to obtain a pre-authorization approved. You will be able to make an appointment once the pre-authorization has been approved.
You will be asked to share the following information to be able to send the pre-authorization:
1. Your full name, as appears on your insurance card
2. Your date of birth
3. Your member ID number
4. Your address as appears on the Oregon Health Share records
5. County that you live
6. Your phone number
7. Languages you speak
9. Brief description of your symptoms
Methods of Payments accepted
Pay fee or co-payment at time of services (not applicable for EAP). You can pay using your credit or debit card; however, a 3% transaction fee will be charged. To avoid the fee, you can also pay with cash, check, or transferring money through the Google Pay app, or Venmo app.
Need to notify at least 24 hours in advance of any non-emergency cancellation. Failure to do so will result in a no- show fee that is a $50 or a use of your EAP approved voucher if applicable. Please note that no-shows are not the responsibility of your insurance company.
Be aware that 2 no shows and/or 2 late cancellations (or the combination of both) will result in closing services for you. You will not be rescheduled if your first visit is a no show. We will cancel future appointments if you are no longer eligible for benefits through current insurance. We may provide transitional appointments and include paying cash for services or free/reduced cost services elsewhere.
If we have a no-show from you and or you do not schedule an appointment after 30 days, we will assume you are ending your treatment. We may close your file at that time. You will be considered a new client after that period of time (30 days). You will not be again scheduled if providers are full and is not possible to offer you regular ongoing appointments for treatment.
