Justine Bauer, CSW-Associate
Justine holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Social Work from Portland State
University. She has experience working in outpatient mental health, residential
treatment facilities and correctional facilities. She has worked with various communities and populations, such as, children, adolescents, adults and families, providing individual and family counseling, as well as crisis intervention.
Justine’s practice is strongly rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care, and collaborative problem-solving. She also provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) services.
Justine believes in building a strong therapeutic rapport in order to create a safe and trusting environment for all clients in order to achieve their goals. Collaboration is highly valued in Justine’s practice, while she believes in taking time to understand client’s outlooks, beliefs, feelings and concerns. She strives for clients to feel supported and validated through their therapy journey by guiding them through reflecting, processing and healing from life events and challenges.

Justine is currently working towards licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Her LCSW supervisor Lucrecia Suárez, LCSW.
