Adriana is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, holding a Master’s degree in
Counseling from George Fox University. Adriana is passionate about working with a diverse population, including children, teens, adults, and families from a variety of backgrounds. Adriana is bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural. She is passionate about working with the Latinx community and warmly welcomes individuals and families whose preferred language is Spanish.
Adriana enjoys working alongside clients experiencing stress, anxiety, relational conflict, and challenges with self-concept. She utilizes evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual's unique needs, while also acknowledging the influence of larger systemic factors. With a holistic and multicultural approach to counseling, Adriana strives to understand each client in their entirety.
Throughout the therapeutic process Adriana will work with clients to explore all aspects of the individual—including physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. This exploration may include therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems, Restoration Therapy, and Person-Centered approaches. When working with children, Adriana incorporates play therapy, while maintaining a systemic lens.
She believes it is her responsibility as the therapist to create a safe and trusting environment for all clients. It is through this safe and trusting therapeutic relationship that healing can happen. Adriana looks forward to collaborating with clients to help them achieve their personal goals.
