Aléx Bassi
Aléx Bassi, QMHP-I
Aléx (they/them/el) has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from San Diego State University, a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Lewis & Clark, and is currently working on getting their Master’s in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark. Their professional background includes working in the school setting supporting youth and their families, and years in the mental health field working with diverse clients. Aléx is tricultural, Non-Binary, and a first generation child of two immigrant parents.
Aléx believes in a collaborative relationship with their clients where the client can feel safe, heard, and connected. Aléx approaches therapeutic work through the lens of Relational Cultural Therapy, Trauma Informed, Feminist Theory, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and views individuals as holistic beings. Aléx also incorporates therapeutic interventions from different treatment modalities and hopes to work together to find strategies and tools that work best for each individual client.
Aléx enjoys working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and First Generation communities. They have experience working with clients from the ages of 8 to adulthood, and looks forward to meeting and working with anyone on their healing adventure.
