Julia is attending George Fox University to become a Licensed Practicing Therapist.

Julia grew up in Hood River, Oregon, and is a fluent Spanish speaker. She is a first-generation college and graduate-level student. Her parents immigrated to the United States from Nayarit and Michoacán, Mexico. That experience has deeply shaped her values, identity, and passion for mental health advocacy.

Julia enjoys spending time at the coast, going on walks, journaling, horticulture, and being with family and friends. She brings a vibrant, curious, and compassionate energy into her work. She has experience supporting children and adolescents in crisis intervention settings, facilitating DBT groups, and providing psychoeducation on coping skills. Julia also has experience working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.

Julia is excited to create a supportive, culturally responsive, and affirming space for all clients. She is passionate about helping reduce the stigma around mental health in Latinx communities.

Julia looks forward to having the privilege of working with you.
