Patricia Montoya, QMHI
Patricia is completing her Master of Social Work degree at Cleveland State University with a Clinical Specialization, working toward becoming a licensed clinical social worker.
Originally from Colombia, Patricia is a bilingual (English/Spanish) practitioner with over a decade of experience in grief facilitation, trauma-informed care, and end-of-life support. She is a certified Death Doula and volunteers at the bedside of hospice patients. She also serves on the board of The Grief House.
Patricia brings a somatic, culturally rooted lens to her work and believes that transformation happens in community, in the body, and across generations. Clients can expect a space that is warm, unhurried, and deeply respectful of their unique story.
Outside of her practice, Patricia is a mom to a spirited toddler and a very good dog. Based in Portland, Oregon, she loves spending time outdoors, riding horses, or at the beach.
Licenses and Certifications
Patricia is currently attending the School of Social Work at Cleveland State University to pursue her degree and become a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is under the supervision of her school and Ivette Rabanal, LCSW, Clinical Director.
