Rebekah Posadas is a Professional Counselor Associate who approaches therapy with warmth, empathy, and a deep respect for each client’s lived experience. She works from a relational framework that prioritizes safety, trust, and collaboration, empowering individuals to create meaningful and sustainable change in their lives. Rebekah integrates evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, mindfulness techniques, and attachment theory, all through a trauma-informed and decolonizing lens. She also incorporates art therapy when helpful, offering creative pathways for expression, insight, and healing.

Rebekah holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Art Therapy from Adler University. Her professional background includes community mental health work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and complex trauma, as well as work in residential settings with juvenile offenders, supporting both perpetrators and victims of sexual trauma in their healing journeys. She has extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals and brings a nuanced, compassionate understanding to complex clinical presentations.

As a Mexican-American, bicultural therapist, Rebekah practices with a strong multicultural lens and has a particular passion for supporting the Latinx community, including addressing intergenerational trauma. She enjoys working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent populations and is committed to creating an affirming, inclusive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space where clients feel seen and valued.

Outside of her clinical work, Rebekah enjoys exploring new coffee shops, adding new earrings to her eclectic collection, spending time with family and friends, and creating art—interests that reflect her belief in balance, creativity, and connection as essential components of well-being.
