Sarah received her Master's in Clinician Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University in 2024. Sarah prioritizes being present with her clients as they experience and process life’s ups and downs. She believes that healing can begin only when one feels safe and understood. Sarah is passionate about helping her clients develop awareness into their behaviors and reactions and find unique ways to honor their emotions and move through challenges. Her professional experience includes working with the following concerns: depression, anxiety, attachment wounds, trauma, life transitions, challenges associated with neurodivergence, and relational challenges.

Sarah has experience working in community mental health with children, adolescents, and families for the past year and a half. At Barcelona, she is excited to expand her therapy practice to include adults clients as well. Sarah speaks English only.

Sarah’s approach is humanistic and eclectic, drawing from various modalities to meet clients where they are. She primarily uses a strengths-based, person centered approach. Sarah may also utilize techniques from evidenced based modalities such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavior therapy, existential therapy, and supporting techniques such as motivational interviewing and nonviolent communication.

When she is not conducting therapy, Sarah enjoys spending time in nature, crafting, cooking, and spending time with her family and her cat.
