Lourdes Villagran Suárez, CSW-Associate.
 

Lourdes holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the CSU of San Bernardino.

 

Lourdes has experience working in community mental health and school settings with children, adolescents, and families addressing generational trauma and a variety of mental health concerns. She has experience providing individual and family therapy, and enjoys working with diverse people. Her approach is to focus on the well-being of the individual.

Lourdes uses evidenced based approaches and adapts them to the needs of each individual.  She has experiences with cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interview, solution focused brief counseling, narrative therapy, and centered approach. Lourdes also provides EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) treatment. She has experience working with those with marginalized identities, with the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community.
